We have a general interest in ecology and evolution, but we are focusing on how the environment affects the development of organisms, and how organisms adapt to changing environments. In particular, we are interested in the evolutionary role of environmentally-induced developmental alterations.

We use various amphibian species as study systems, their adaptations to abiotic factors and their interactions with predators, competitors, pathogens and organisms in other trophic levels.
